Three men in a boat ...

More like three bods in a red Nissan estate wagon, actually. Ian, Mum and I had a great old time in NZ. Gourmet food and wine seemed to be on the agenda most days, and my clothes are certainly nowhere near as loose as they were a month ago.

Here's a couple of piccies to whet your appetite:

(a) Orakei Korako, supposedly one of NZ's best-kept secrets.

(b) supposedly NZ's most photographed rock, viewed through the arch at Cathedral Cove. (OK, OK, I'll straighten it up at a later date - I was about to do an Ian and get wiped out by that wave, which came surging into the arch.)

Hi folks, this is a test page for Wab's Bloggle. Still working out how to use the darn thing, but so far hasn't been too much of a struggle. Taking a leaf out of Bidge's book, I reckon we'll use this when in NZ etc. later in the year. The next thing to work out will be how to upload pics directly from Ian's phone or our camera. Can't be that hard, six million other people can do it ...

We'll also keep you up-to-date with our slide shows via picasa (eventually!).
